If you want to change a slave drive to the master drive how do you go about doing it without losing any info on the original master drive?

Did you get any instructions or software with your hard drive? If so read them, or install the software in your current hard drive. If not go to the new drive mfrs. website and download what you need. It will have detailed instructions on how to use the software to make your new drive work in an older machine.

If you need any more help reply to this post.

Yes it did come with directions. They are what I used in the first place. I alreaady installed the drive as the servant drive and I want to change the servant to master and get rid of the original drive. My problem is I do not know how to get all my info
from one drive to the other? I have alot of info on the primary hard drive that I still need.
