Everytime i choose to manually backup my hard drive, my antivirus program (mcafee) detects that a trojan has entered the system called Generic Downloader.v and since mcafee is a piece of junk it couldnt clean it and simply moved the virus. Now i am concerned that the trojan is looming around and screwing with my system because the clean attempt failed.

I also tried running trojan hunter but my trojan is not in the database so it didnt work and i was wondering what i should do??
