I was wondering if anyone can help me with the optimal grahical settings for Half Life 2

I hope this makes sense, cause it's not technical, but try adjusting the settings in
stages and when you notice a decrease in the performance or gameplay
you've gone to far. That way you can decide for yourself which options you would like optimised depending on how you like to play. Asthetics or fluidity...Or if it copes
both.
