My computer restarts every time I turn on my computer. It restarts after windows is done loading. I tried the Recovery Console thing and used the command chkdsk /r and did that process and it still doesn't work. Can someone help me out?

Hey Hidethecookie!

Go back into Recovery Console and type the following commands seperate from each other:
  • fixboot
  • fixmbr
  • bootcfg /rebuild
Hit 'Y' if you are prompted to say Y/N to any warnings that appear.

If this doesn't work, you can also boot into safe mode and go to START-->RUN and type in: sfc /scannow (Note the space between sfc and /scannow). You will need your xp cd in the cd drive when doing this. After the blue bar goes away, reboot your computer.
