I have sygate and firefox. It was working fine for awhile but everytime I try to go online now it won't let me. Then when I cancel sygate I can go on the internet or on aim, but if i turn sygate back on it signs me off. I'm sorry but i don't know much about computers.

Do you get any messages when you boot the computer ? it could be that it is blocking a legitimate connection from being established.

this is what you do , you double click on the sygate fire wall and then look for the applications menu, openb that up and look for the program ( if it is fire fox look for that) you are trying to use, when you find it look and see if iot is blocked or better yet just left click on it and change it to allow that should cure your problem
