Hi,

First off I would like to say thank you to everyone who helps people on this site. Its a great service you guys provide for all of us who are stuck with problems. :tazz:

I have done everything asked before posting the log. By following your instructions a lot of things have been removed. There are two users on this PC, one of them seemed to be clean but the HJTlog I will paste here is from the user with the problems during the clean up. Here is the HJT log:

Hi there fonzy, Sorry for the late reply
Nothing really showing in your HJT log could we get a look at another please
  • Download FindIt's.zip to your desktop: http://forums.net-in...=post&id=142443
  • Unzip/extract the files inside to a folder on your desktop.
  • Open the folder and run FindIt's.bat and wait for notepad to open a text file. It will take awhile so please be patient ...
  • Then post the results here please, along with the new HijackThis log.

Hi again fonzy,

*Please open notepad and save these instructions, Name it something you will remember
*Click Here to download Killbox by Option^Explicit.
*Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

C:\WINNT\RMAGEN~1.DLL

*Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".
*Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

Your computer should restart automatucally if not please restart manually.

Post back a fresh findits log

And lets get a look at another log please,
Download winpfind

Extract WinPFind.zip to your c:\ folder.

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode

Then open c:\WinPFind and double-click on WinPFind.exe. When the program is open, click on the Start Scan button to scart scanning your computer. Be patient as this scan may take a while. When it is done, it will show a log and tell you the scan is completed. Reboot your computer back to normal mode and and post the contents of c:\WinPFind\WinPFind.txt as a reply to this topic.

Hi,

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I had trouble with Winpfind, it didn't seem to run properly when I tried it. The rest went fine. Here is a fresh FinIt's log:

Lets try something different then,

Please click this link to download Silent Runners.
* Save it to the desktop.
* Run Silent Runner's by doubleclicking the "Silent Runners" icon on your desktop.
* You will see a text file appear on the desktop - it's not done yet, just let it run (it won't appear to be doing anything!)
* Once you receive the prompt "All Done!", double-click on the new text file on the desktop and copy that entire log and paste it here.

*NOTE* If you receive any warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.
