Ok, so I was running a virus scan this morning walked in a few minutes later to check on it and the screen was blank (getting no signal from pc) and it was beeping. The beep was 1 second long and would beep every 3 seconds. I shut the pc off and turned it back on and it just remained blank with the beeping. I'm guessing it is either the processor motherboard or memory. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it as I am a full time student and need to fix this ASAP. Thanks in advance.

according to this, repeated long beeps are due to memory errors.

I will head home and try that out. If you don't hear back from me then that's not the problem. Hope to talk soon. Thanks.

Hello, yes I am back which means that WAS the problem. My memory bit the dust which is funny because I've never gotten the blue screen of death or anything. It showed no symptoms of dieing. What's even more funny and equally entertaining for me is that I am now running on an old stick of 128 that I had laying around, YEEEEE HAW!!! This freaking sucks. Will order another one. Thanks again geeks!!!!!!!!!!! I love you!!!!!!!
