I have a laptop and an Desktop set up through a router running cable internet. I want to move the desktop upstairs but not run cable. What do I need to buy, and how do I set this up. I am guessing I need a wireless router upstairs running to the wireless router downstairs. is it easy to configure or....? hope you can help

Hi,

You will need one wirerless router placed next to the cable modem, a ethernet cable must run from the modem to the wirerless router. You will then need a wirerless network card installed in both the decktop and the laptop. Some laptops have wierless network cards built in.

Both the router and cards come with very detailed instructions that are fairly easy to setup.
