Called Miracle Search, it generates Pop-Ups named "Microsoft Internet Explorer Advertisement", hijacks the Favourites panel for an advert and is generally plain irritating.
Have used A2, Ad-Aware, Spybot Search And Destroy, Spyware Blaster, Ewido, Avast! & TrojanHunter, all to no avail. Also tried Elite Toolbar remover, but that wouldn't run.
I have changed to Firefox browser in order to get away from it, but would really like to get it off my PC.
After my upgrade, I also had trouble connecting to the internet, so in an attempt to get it working, I used my ISP's installation disc which has changed IE and Outlook Express to a shade of blue (ISP is called Blueyonder). I don't think that the Miracle Search Toolbar was part of that package, as they are a very responsible and safety conscious ISP.
I would greatly appreciate your help in removing the blighter.
