I wrote this long, very explainatory and, atleast I think so myself, nice post.
But then I was told there was a newer version of HiJackThis, and my post was deleted. SO, a shorter version:

Thanks you guys, you saved me from horror and frustration over PSGuard!
Now I can't get rid of these pop-ups... often several at a time!
I did all that I could, cleaned everything that might even have seemed a slightly suspicious in my eyes (which wasn't - thank god for backup!).

Some of the adresses in the pop-ups, maybe someone will recognize what this might be.
