Hey,

I just bought a new notebook. Windows XP was already installed on it, and it immediately found our wireless network we have at home. So I thought I could just click on Internet Explorer and go ahead and download Mozilla Firefox.
But although I have great connection to the wireless network, Internet Explorer doesn't connect to the Internet.
The only thing I found on my google research was that under CONNECTIONS under INTERNET OPTIONS the thing about automatic detecting setting has to be unchecked. But it is!!
I hope somebody can help me,
thanks,
bruderfelipe :tazz:

Have you checked the LAN settings in IE? You might take a peek and make sure they are set up correctly. Sometimes it's as simple as just making IE automatically detect your settings.
