Hello,
Everytime i use IE winfixer2005 pops...its the same problem that a lot of people are having.

Im new at this...so please try to make it as simple as posible for me to understand...

Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

• Empty Recycle Bins
• Delete Cookies
• Delete Prefetch files
• Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.

It may ask you to reboot at the end, click NO.

Then, please run this online virus scan: ActiveScan

Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HijackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic.

well i did everything you said up until clean up...i could not find

in the hijackthis...i did fix the 2 other ones i found...

So should i still continue the clean up?

I need you to go into Microsoft Antispyware and delete the items from the Quarantine.
Start Antispyware
Click on Tools
Click on Spyware Scan
Click on Manage Spyware Quarantine
there you can delete what is in your Quarantine.

Open HijackThis

Download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop

Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. Place the following lines (complete paths) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each

For these file, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.
Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

Use Windows Explorer to remove these folders:

Close Windows Explorer when you are done.

Please run Spybot 1.4 and AdAware SE 1.06 and remove all they find.

umm another questions...on killbox shouldn't i click yes when it ask "all listed files will be deleted on the next reboot" and i should say no to reboot the computer until the last one...is that right

C:\Program Files\Save\ states that "it can not be deleted because it is being used by another person or program..."

"cannot find file..."

I do not have anything else open and i did try to remove it in explorer

am i doing something wrong again?
