After my laptop hibernates/powers down and I hit the power on button most of the time after coming back up the desk top (the whole thing) shrinks, gets smaller. It has a 2 to 3 inch black border around it. It comes up normal after I enter my password then the screen blinks and come back small (not just the icons).
After rebooting it comes back full screen. I run several clean-up pgms and even restored to before the problem started occuring.
Is this a new type of bug or virus? And if so how do I get rid of it?

Someone suggested I reinstall my vido drivers.
How do you reinstall vido drivers?

Try re-installing\updating your video-card drivers.
