I will never bring up another topic regarding file sharing or P2P networking. I cant wait for software patents to come out. Soon we wont be able to have any websites built on freeware as they will be able to patent the way a website looks, everything from a "web forum" to a "shopping cart" could be patented.

Im really sorry to have to post this, but the totaliterian nature of computing is really starting to get in my way, i actualy wanted bit torrent to download something known as debian linux from http://www.debian.org/CD/torrent-cd/ .
This is an example of how file sharing benefits the entire computing world, a free fully featured operating system.

I am aware this post will get deleted as it will be seen as a threat to commercialized computing everywhere, and theres no way you guys can stand up to them (since they technically do own you). Hopefully someone will see it though....

dave - possibly last post on this username/email/IP (if you decide to ban my entire university netowkr, or this part of it)

Hello! This thread is being closed. We do not allow discussion of P2P/file sharing programs on the site, due to various reasons. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
