I have had lots of virus and spyware cleaned lately. Am working on removing W32/Alemode.dll.

Yet somewhere along the line, anytime a javascript function ie (Javascript('function name') is called within Explorer, nothing happens.

I then installed Netscape, but the same issue is occuring. In fact on a Netscape page, it shows the page getting stuck in a loop, and acutally stops responding.

I have tried to reinstall ie from the command line from my XP disc with no suceess.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a javascript compiler that can be downloaded? Just a thought that may be the problem.

TIA
