How to remove Winfixer Malware

The new Spybot definitions dated 9/9/05 removed the Winfixer popup from my laptop. It has Winfixer listed as one the adware that it will removed. Also Webroot/Spy Sweeper sent me an email that Spy Sweeper should remove Winfixer. The instructions were to use the latest version of Spy Sweeper, I believe 4.04, and the latest definitions and boot to safe mode and run Spy Sweeper back to back to back, 3 times in a row. Hope this helps someone...Mike
