Since yesterday i have recieved this error message when trying to use any programs including Internet Explorer.

Windows cannot access the specified path/file ..You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item

I went onto the internet using a different computer and looked at help to fixing this.. i followed some advice, which said download, Clean up and Ewido Security suite. It said to run this in safemode.. which i did it found a few infections... and i deleted and followed instructions. I restarted into normal windows and everything worked normally.

How ever, Once i turned my computer off and started windows normally i get the same problem. Currently i have to run safe mode, and restart windows to be able to use anything. I used hijackthis and got the following log...

If any one could help.. i would be most thankfull. I notice on the forum alot of people with the winfixer pop up.. I recently had that problem and its thanks to this forum i got it fixed.
