Have you cleaned the disk?
Have you tried installing it using a different CD drive?
Have you closed all unnecessary background tasks?
Have you emptied all your temp folders?

i have tried all of those !!! im going to rebuy this game since i have had it for about a year so im just hoping its not like this in all my games !!! any other suggestions b4 2:30 pm .. EST .. would be great .. im buying it after work !

Have you tried updating the firmware on your CD drive?
Have you tried changing the transfer mode on your CD drive?
Have you installed the safe disc update?
