Hi, I've been trying to burn a SVCD using Nero Expressvision 3.
I've tried their support, updating etc only to get an error saying that DMA on drives not enabled. I checked Control panel System/IDE/ Ata controllers & found that it seems to be activated their. On each drive it states- Let BIOS select Transfer mode / Checked.
All 3 drives ( CDRW, DVD, DVDRW ) are set @ Ultea DMA2 - Ultra 33.
Hard drive, Ultra DMA5 - Ultra 100.
I can't understand why in the Error report it states DMA not enabled?
Thank You.

Hi. Have you tried looking for software patches or updates from Nero? I believe you can also contact Nero tech support via their web page.

I first contacted Nero support, then upgraded to latest versions.
Tried again Burning a SVCD using Expressvision 3 only to get another failure message.
Then I checked the error log again finding DMA not on any drives.
Then I checked the Control panel all enabled there!
Nero then said check my Bios,
I can't find anything in there wrong?
Replied again to Nero - no reply!
