So here's my situation. My desktop has one hardrive (primary) that i've been using since i got it. I have a removable hardrive i just installed (slave) that i need for school. My primary drive runs XP, and my slave run Windows 2000. Right now i boot from the primary and i can access the slave without a problem.

My question is, what do i need to do to be able to boot from my slave but not have to go into my computer and change the jumper on my primary? Is it possible to set up a dual boot menu when i start my comp?

Thanks

you'll need to install a boot loader. its a program that lets you pick what os you want to boot. the only one I can think of off the top of my head is boot magic but I'm sure there are many more. google 'windows boot loader'
