From what I've read, there is no generic cure to the WinFixer problem, so I thought I could get your help!

Thanks!

When I try to reboot to Safe Mode via the F8 key, everything proceeds as normal, but then my computer "reboots" itself. Despite pushing F8 throughout every "reboot," my computer simple will NOT reboot to safe mode, and will reboot itself everytime when trying to complete "Safe Mode". Does anyone know of this problem?

On trying to "Fix" sabtnof.* w/ VundoFix in 'Safe Mode', my computer went directly into blue screen.

A process or thread crucial to system operation was terminated.

Here is the memory dump:

STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x81F66568, 0x81F666DC, 0x805F9F88)

Any ideas? fontbas.dll is killed just fine; it's only when trying to kill sabtnof.*

(Please note that I rebooted into 'Safe Mode with Networking,' because regular Safe Mode was not working for me.)

Thanks again.

Zipped and submitted.

There were four files in that folder: fontbas.dll, and three sabtnof files.

Thanks.

I actually got an error from the address I sent the .zip to, but I assume it redirects the email to multiple addresses.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

lineofire@spywarewarrior.com

SMTP error from remote mailer after end of data:

Considering normal Safe Mode doesn't work for me (why does it not work?), I'll try 'Safe Mode With Networking' once again..

I'll edit this post in a few with the results.

EDIT: Same thing. Blue screen with the memory dump I posted previously; only a hard reboot will fix it.

What the... is going on with my computer?

P.S.: I got another WinFixer popup right before I rebooted to the Safe Mode With Networking. Go figure.
