Hey,

Yesterday when I rebooted my computer it was apparently taken by some pretty aggressive spyware. The wallpaper changed into a message with the text "Warning! Your computer might be infected with spyware or adware!!!" etc., with a "click here" link to fix it. I can't change the wallpaper since the tab in the desktop properties disappeared. Also a red icon with a white exclamation mark appeared in the right side of the taskbar. Also, my homepage changed to about:blank, which upon starting internet explorer directs me to the page http://www.security2k.net/. I can't change the homepage back. A few [bleep] sites have been added to my favorites. The whole thing is accompanied by frequent pop ups.
