Quark XPress image use

I am writing a book and want to have my images stay with the text they reference when I make changes. Every time I make an edit, the text moves around and then I have to start over placing images.
Any advice?

Do you have anything which allows you to adjust the canvas size of the image then enter text onto the image canvas
