Service Manager

Can you tell me what it belongs to?

Sorry, my mistake :tazz:

It's in the startup folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu Start\Programs

Please right-click the file and check the proporties to see what it belongs to.

the target is

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\sqlmangr.exe" /n

does that mean anything?

I just consulted a collegue (jrdenver, thanks for your help :tazz: ).

If you are not using a sql server or any program using a sql server you can remove this:
Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (RETSDATA)


Reboot to save mode.

Open HijackThis
  • Click on the configure button on the bottom right
  • Click on the tab "Misc Tools"
  • Click on the Box that says "Uninstall Manager"
  • Click on the entry you wish to delete
  • Click on Delete this entry
  • Click "Yes"
Close HijackThis.

Reboot back to normal mode.

Let me know how things are now.
