Is it possible to revert to my original bios. I am running Windows 98, 2nd edition and am having a problem with installing new hardware as the usb ports do not show up in the device manager. Any help would be appreciated

If you've updated your BIOS using a newer version installed from a floppy you'll have to reinstall the older version again. If you haven't updated the BIOS and just want to return to the default settings, you can usually select default settings in the BIOS menu, or clear the BIOS/CMOS by using a jumper on the motherboard, or disconnecting the power and removing the battery for at least five minutes.
