I guess you get what you pay for

Hear hear :tazz:

The speed test is not actually a speed test...it's a bandwidth test. Let's see how accurate it is. I got 1177.6 Kbps, which is between DSL/Cable and Cable/DSL (yah..apparently, those are different things :) ...) and then I pressed the back button, but it won't let me go back and just performed the test again! This time, I got 408000 Kbps :) , that's more than T3 which is not possible because I know for a fact that I have ADSL. OK, just for fun, I went to the page again and started over, and guess what I got this time? 3953.5 Kbps, just above T1.

Wow, this is amusing me (way more than it should), some other results: 136000 Kbps, 2910.1 Kbps, 204000 Kbps. Haha, apparently my connection is very bandwidth friendly :)

I don't think I can do that, I don't have a server...only an internet connection. Plus, I don't think windows 2000 is a hosting server...2003 is and xp pro are (I think). Oh wow, I don't know anything about hosting.

All you have to have is "TeamSpeak" server software. It's free and compatible with any Windows version back to 98. I don't know about 95. This would also be good...As a second for this forums, If G2G was interested in hosting a chat server for it's people to use. I can help set it up if needed. (That goes for anyone's TeamSpeak server, I have lots of experience with it.) The software is availible for download at no charge: HERE

Okay, I see. Would I need to pay extra to the internet provider, would the computer/internet slow down when traffic is heavy, and do I need to have the computer on and internet connected 24-7? If yes then I can't do it, sorry :tazz: :) This is a shared computer...

Thanks, but it's okay. I don't think that's a great idea on a shared computer. (Setup and Admin console are visible on the desktop)
