:tazz: I got a virus or something on my other computer called winfix, so i printed out the directions on how to remove it. It said to put your computer in safe mode then to go to the vundofix.exe file. I put my computer in safe mode, clicked on my name because i have an xp and then just a black screen with safe mode written in the corners. I have no idea what to do after that and i dont know how to get out of safe mode or remove this virus now.

Just shut off the power, and you can reboot normaly.

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that YOU POST YOUR LOG AS A NEW TOPIC IN THE MALWARE FORUM AT GEEKSTOGO.

gOOD LUCK
