Hey shaz!

Problems with lsass are usually related to the Blaster virus so I suggest you head on over to the Malware Forum and let the specialists there help you solve this situation. Please START HERE before posting a HJT log in that forum.

If you are still having a problem after being given a clean bill of health by the malware experts, please return to THIS topic and we shall continue on with other possibilities to help solve your problem.

Good luck!

Fenor

Hi shaz...Welcome to G2G!

Unfortunately, lsass.exe is a virus.

Please go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the START HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

One more question shaz, have you run windows update on your computer? Just curious because the malicious program removal tool that is issued by microsoft deals with the blaster virus.
