Somewhere I managed to pick up PSguard and I can't get rid of it. I read all your instructions and followed them. I ran Adaware, Spybot, Cleanup, Trojan Hunter and Ewido. I also downloaded SP1a....

Any help that anyone can offer me in getting rid of this thing would be most appreciated! Here are my logs for Ewido and Hikack This. Many Thanks!!

I'm sorry that no one had any time to reply to my request. I was able to go to Edited and they were very responsive and helped me to remove psguard.

If anyone here is having problems getting anyone to help you, I highly recommend Edited--look for the hijack this logs forum. They actually responded to 2 of my posts today in the last 8 hours.

None one here responded in 3 days......

Good Luck! :tazz:

*Post removed by an Administrator. I'm sorry that you didn't receive help fast enough to suit you. This is a forum run by volunteers, who all have lives and families offline. We do our best to keep up, but we generally run at least 3-4 days behind...which is why we have a pinned topic called "If you haven't received help in THREE days.........post here". Or something along those lines. It's at the very top of the Malware forum. People who wait past three days post there, and they receive help immediately.
We work as fast as we can to try and keep up with the huge daily influx of new people needing help. But, we refuse to compromise the integrity of our work. To do so would only hurt our members. Since we're here to HELP all of you, that would defeat our purpose. "

In response to the comments above by an administrator after I sent in a post stating that I wasn't able to get any response at all to my request for help, I would lilke to make a a few comments and a suggestion:

1) I agree with what you are saying and no one would want you to compromise the integrity of what you are doing.

2) You mentioned that you "generally run at least 3-4 days behind" and yet I saw several other posts newer than mine (posted after mine) which had received numerous reponses for the same initial problem. I therefore could only conclude that mine had slipped between the cracks. Your comment above that I felt that I didn't (as you put it above) "receive help fast enough to suit me" is condescending and wrong.

3) I plainly missed the pinned topic about "If you haven't received help in THREE days.........post here". Frankly though, after posting my initial request, I only went back in to check for responses and did not check back at the initial topics. That was my error.

4) By the same token, you could, at the outset, inform everyone that you "generally run at least 3-4 days behind." By doing so, you would lessen the expectations of your users that they will be receiving a reply any sooner.

I don't offer these comments to create rancor or problems for you, but rather to set the record straight and as constructive, continual improvement suggestions.

Thank you

I am sorry that you didn't get the help you needed right away, but please don't promote other sites on our boards.

Good luck and I am glad you are fixed now.
