Yes.

and keep my restore points?

Nope. You don't want them anyway because they are infected and if you use them, you will reinfect your machine. It's best to clear ALL restore points (which is the instructions in my previous post) to start fresh with System Restore.

You can safely clear them now. Make sure to do it exactly as instructed
