Okay, I barely know anything about computers but I can follow instructions. I don't want to remove anything unnessasary from my comptuer, but I am stupid enough to download Winfixer that is potentially dangerous to my computer. I have Windows XP.

I don't know how to do much, so I need some first steps. ^^;

Can anyone help me?

I need help fast!! Winfixer keeps poping up and keeps freezing Internet Explorer!!

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

I think my computer is very old. Please look at this screenshot of when an error occured. I don't know what this is. I think there are many things wrong with my computer right now...It's a hand-me-down sort of computer...
