:tazz: Hi

Hope someone can help me.Please...
One of our users system is on XP ,Compaq deskpro,IE6,having Mcafee antivirus. Since lastweek i've had this various issues.
a) system vry slow
b) After closing IE another site opens on its own 'aaawebsearch.com"
sometimes more that 1 .....

I've run Mcaffee antivirus but found no viruses.
I've run Ad-ware found quite a number of spywares which was deleted.
Also used 'SpySweeper' found a few which was removed.

The initial problem was still there
Then after reading the previous posted questions on his matter i ran from:
a) //housecall.antivirus.com/
--> lots of virus was found. All removed except 1
/windows/system32/dlliltmli.exe , this file cannot delete bcos in use!!!!!

b) also ran from www.moosoft.com , but nothing was found.

Now, to have more info i executed the 'HijackThis' tool but halfway i keep getting the message " This computer has performed an illegal operation and needs to close"
When i close this screen all the rest is also closed.
But surprisingly now 'porn' sites start to appear. What is happening????
I'am shocked.........

Pls advice
Your assistance is greately appreciated
Thank you

Hi dhnish

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

And post your log here:

Thank you

Dear Thatman,

As per requested i've posted a reply in the 'Hijackthis' forum indicating i'am unable to run this tool as the error i mentioned earlier appears an closes the screen. I cant save the log.
Is there another version of this program?
What could be the cause?
Pls advice

Sorry fr the inconvenience caused hope u can assist me
Thank you and have a nice day
