I'm helping a friend on her computer and she has run Norton multiple times and can't get rid of this. Each time, Norton finds the virus in several files and they can't be repaired or deleted but can be quartined. But more infected files keep showing up. Norton is the only antivirus that has found the virus on this computer, she has a few others and they don't find anything. Also, she has LimeWire on purpose and she says she got the virus from another friends email.Here's her HJT log:

+++++ Step 1 +++++
Please update ewido security suite
[*]You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.

• On the left hand side of the main screen click update.
• Then click on Start Update.

[*]The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
(the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
[/list]If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.

Once the updates are installed do the following:

• Run Ewido Security Suite . Set the program up as follows:[list]
• Click on scanner
• Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
• You will be prompted to clean the first infection.
• Select "Perform action on all infections", then proceed.
• Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
• Click Save report.
• Save the report .txt file to your desktop or a location where you can find it easily.

Close ewido security suite.

Further Scanning
Please run a Scan at the Following site
Panda ActiveScan

Make sure that you choose the "fix" or "clean" option when available
at the end of this scan you will be given then option to save a log from the scan -SAVE THAT LOG- and post it here

Update HiJackThis

• Open HiJackThis
• Click Open the Misc Tools Section
• Click Check for update online

+++++ Step 4 +++++

After that, I will need to see a Recent HijackThis log (preferrable taken today!)

Post back with those logs and we can continue from there.

sorry it took awhile to get back to ya, my neighbor has been sick so I haven't been able to come work on her computer till today. I found removal instruction for the virus on Norton's website and followed them, ran ewido, ran cleanup, spybot and and will run panda's scan in a bit. I'll post the results for the scan's as soon as my neighbor gets back to let me into her account, I can't access them now. Norton says the computer is virus free but I'll post the HJT log and everything else as soon as I can.
