This is very strange. Allsorts of WinZip files keep appearing for some reason in one of my folders all the files are 852kb and contain a .exe file i have not opened any of these file in fear that they may contain a virus of some sort.
The folder is a directory that i use for a file sharing program (Soulseek) but these appear when i have connected to slsk in days.
Anyone have any ideas what tis might be?

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

those zip files are most likely from your P2P program. we at geeks to go HIGHLY recommend NOT using any P2P program, for this exact reason

this thread will be closed to deter any further P2P discussion...please continue your course of action with the malware team
