When I try saving an attached file from Outlook to My Documents it take forever to finally view the folder (let me metion that the file has already been opened). There where some shortcuts to network drives in the My Doc folder and I moved them out, but no luck with speed. The target is pointing to the hard drive (that was an issue in the past when it was pointed to the network.

Also if I just right click on the attactment and choose save as it work just fine.

Is there something that I'm over looking?

Thanks. :tazz:

How many files do you have in MY DOCUMENTS? How many subfolders?

Let's say you've got a billion music files or picture files (or both)...try this.

Create a folder elsewhere--say c:\pictures and then create a shortcut to that folder in MY DOCUMENTS, rather than the entire folder. Does that make a difference?
