[xxlucienxx]

I have some nasty trojans that I cannot get rid of as well as a nasty spyware called "Network Essentials.Smart Pops". One of the trojans that I have is called "Pakes.C".

OK I did as instructed, but I still have the spyware called "Network Essentials.Smart Pops"
Still cannot get rid of it.

When I boot up my pc, I also get a Runner Error that says:
Invalid Backweb application id "1940576"

• Double-click on RegSrch.vbs.
• If you have an anti-virus installed it might prompt you about a running script. Please ignore this warning and allow the script to run.
• In the "Enter search string (case insensitive) and click OK..." box paste this string:
  • {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3}
• Click "OK" to search the registry for that string.
• Wait for a few minutes while it completes the search.
• Click "OK" to open the results in WordPad.
• Copy and paste the entire results into your next post.

That seems to have solved this part of it.

One thing we need to check is which user is runing the account with SID:
S-1-5-21-605410281-4159516489-1364912337-1003

To do that, copy the part below into notepad and save it as sidusracc.vbs

Doubleclick the file and you will get a prompt with the useraccount name that belongs to the user with that SID.

Set Filetype to "all files"

Doubleclick that file and confirm you want to merge it with the registry.

Well, it seems to be running much better now. I do still have something that Spybot cannot fix:

Network Essentials.SmartPops

Network Essentials often comes with file sharing programs llike Bearshare.
