I left my comp running this morning, after i come back i found the comp hadn't been restart, and a error message says:

Windows Operating System
1003
System Error
5.2
ER_KRNLCRASH_LOG
Error code %1, parameter1 %2, parameter2 %3, parameter3 %4, parameter4 %5.

can anyone tell me what's wrong with it, thanks!

interesting....never seen that before

First, that is a kernal mode exception, I think..it's hard to tell since this part

Error code %1, parameter1 %2, parameter2 %3, parameter3 %4, parameter4 %5.

reveals variables rather than the actual error codes that the kernal usually "traps" and send to the error log. Never seen the trap fail and pass only variables, so my guess is the crash is happening very early at the hardware level

I suspect faulty drivers...have installed any new drivers lately?

Hi, i guess your are right, i got this blue screen frequently, the error like
DRIVER-IRQL-NOT-LESS-OR-EQUAL
NVNRM.SYS
STOP: 0x00000D1 (0x00000000, 0x00000001, 0x00000000, 0xF81b943)

i haven't install any new driver recently, the system been set up for quite a while without blue screens! really don't know what happened, the report got back from microsoft says a device driver caused the problem, but why it didn't happen before?

Windows update? Perhaps?

This is a network driver for the built-in ethernet port on an nforce motherboard, I am fairly certain.

Has anything changed on your network. Did you install any network games that may be accessing the network?

Search for the file and see what version it is by right clicking and choose properties and going to the version tab
