You have a number of randomonly named files on your system. We like to start with an online virus and trojan scan. Even though you have antivirus software on your system, it can become corrupted by malware.

Please run a free online virus scan here (tick the "Auto Clean" checkbox): Needs to be run with Internet Explorer.

Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.
Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

If found there go to control panel, add/remove programs and uninstall "EliteToolbar"

Remove this entry with Hijack This:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [kalvsys] C:\windows\system32\kalvdbt32.exe

Download the Pocket Killbox.

Reboot into safe mode.

Unzip the contents of KillBox.zip to a convenient location.
Double-click on KillBox.exe.
Click "Replace on Reboot" and check the "Use Dummy" box.
Paste this file into the top "C:\windows\system32\kalvdbt32.exe" box.
Click the "Delete File" button which looks like a stop sign.
Click "Yes" at the Replace on Reboot prompt.
Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

Reboot normally and post new log.

If found there go to control panel, add/remove programs and uninstall "EliteToolbar"

Remove this entry with Hijack This: 

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [kalvsys] C:\windows\system32\kalvdbt32.exe

Download the Pocket Killbox.

Reboot into safe mode.

Unzip the contents of KillBox.zip to a convenient location.
Double-click on KillBox.exe.
Click "Replace on Reboot" and check the "Use Dummy" box.
Paste this file into the top "C:\windows\system32\kalvdbt32.exe" box.
Click the "Delete File" button which looks like a stop sign.
Click "Yes" at the Replace on Reboot prompt.
Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

Reboot normally and post new log.

Looks like you got something else or something morphed, anyways we'll get it, but this may take a few more tries.

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.
Turn off System Restore.
Go to Control Panel, System.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Please delete your temporary files. Double Click My Computer (WinXP: Navigate to Start --->My Computer)
You will see an icon representing your harddrive (most likely C: Drive) Right Click on the hard drive icon and click Properties at the
bottom of the fly out window. One the very first tab (General) you will see a button labeled "Disk Cleanup"...click that button.
Make sure the following are checked:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files and
Recycle Bin
Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

Please Download CoolWebShredder, from http://www.geekstogo...=download&id=17 , Extract it, run the program, and update it. Click the Next Button & let it scan. Make sure you let it fix all CWS Remnants.

Reboot into "Safe Mode"

Run Hijack This again and remove the following entries.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [kalvsys] C:\windows\system32\kalvdbt32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [iiic3.exe] C:\WINDOWS\System32\iiic3.exe /k
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [iiic3.exe] C:\WINDOWS\System32\iiic3.exe /k

Next:

Delete the following files in bold:

C:\windows\system32\kalvdbt32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\iiic3.exe

Reboot normally and post a new log.

Copy the text in bold below to Notepad, and save in a location of your choice as elitefix.reg (Set filetype to 'all files')

Doubleclick the file we made and confirm you want to merge it with the Registry.


REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\LQ]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ohbbackup]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Elitum]


Next run Hijack This and remove the following entry:

Reboot into safe mode and delete the following file.

C:\windows\system32\kalvdbt32.exe

Reboot normally and post new log.
