Removing norton antivirus and installing other.

i want to install new anti virus software but firstly i must uninstall old norton antivirus on my machine. my machine says i connot access windows installer or windows installer is incorrectly installed. can anyone help me.

Howdy and welcome to G2G:

Norton is best removed using their own methods..

Try the FOLLOWING tutorial from Norton and see if that helps..

You can also go to the Microsoft Website and download and install the newest Windows Installer version !!
