Hi dirtyheathens,
Are you getting an error ??
If so what is it ??
Are you by any chance running Spyware Blaster??
If you are :
Open Spyware Blaster
Tools
Click on Flash killer
Untick the "Disable and block Macromedia Flash in Internet Explorer"

OK. I'm running Spybot search and destroy. I opened the tools menu but didnt find a flash killer or macromedia. I've never had an error. when I try to download the the flah player, the screen says done at the bottom but the player isnt downloading.

downloading from where?
Try this:
Within IE, go to TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS, then click on SETTINGS under TEMP. INTERNET FILES. Click VIEW OBJECTS. If shockwave flash object is there, delete it
Now go here:
http://www.macromedi...mcom/flash.html
what happens?

Ive been downloading form the Macromedia web page.
I deleted shockwave and went to the site you posted. I got the Macromedia page without the download flash player option.

That page had the download option. I clicked on it, it said done at the bottom of the page and nothing else happened. I'm not getting any warnings or anything saying that its downloading at all.

I wonder if you accidentally chose DO NOT TRUST CONTENT FROM THIS PUBLISHER at one time....
go here and download the redistributable
http://www.msfn.org/...?shownews=14360
Install that and see if it works

Ok. That downloaded and I ran the install. But it doesnt seem to be working. I went to a site that requires the flash player (joerocket.com) and still couldnt view the page. Maybe I have something set up wrong somewhere.
