First go to Add/Remove Software and see if you can remove New.Net aka NewDotNet (Domains) there. Regardless of whether that works or not continue with what's below.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {057C02B6-15BB-CCC1-2ACC-683D7BE907B3} - C:\DOCUME~1\JOLENE~1\APPLIC~1\GRAMSE~1\Pile mpeg.exe (file missing)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5EBFF710-8865-C899-7CF5-73DBBF3C9F7F} - C:\DOCUME~1\JOLENE~1\APPLIC~1\GRAMSE~1\Pile mpeg.exe (file missing)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WINSTA~1.EXE] C:\WINDOWS\System\WINSTA~1.EXE -b

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [satmat] C:\WINDOWS\satmat.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [setup draw else drive] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\File Debug Setup Draw\first log.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [settingsplayidolthird] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\cakebarbsettingsplay\help ace.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Trickler] "c:\windows\temp\adware\fsg_4104.exe"

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [New.net Startup] rundll32 C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL,NewDotNetStartup -s

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BullsEye Network] C:\Program Files\BullsEye Network\bin\bargains.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [bib start] C:\PROGRA~1\OPENBI~1\SIXTHDRAW64.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AltnetPointsManager] c:\program files\altnet\points manager\points manager.exe -s
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ActivSurf] C:\apps\ActivSurf\4448364\Program\backweb-4448364.exe

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

Reboot into safe mode and delete:
c:\program files\altnet\points manager <= entire folder
C:\PROGRA~1\OPENBI~1\SIXTHDRAW64.exe
C:\Program Files\BullsEye Network <= entire folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\cakebarbsettingsplay <= entire folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\File Debug Setup Draw <= entire folder
C:\WINDOWS\satmat.exe

Then check under Task Scheduler if you find any tasks with funny looking names like:
A60D57949086CF90
AF8FF26590B06B8D

If you do let me know the properties.

Download Ad-aware from: http://www.geekstogo...n=download&id=5

Install the program and launch it.

First, in the main window, look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now and download the latest reference files.

Next, we need to configure Ad-aware for a full scan.

-> Click on the Gear icon (second from the left) to access the preferences/settings window

1. In the General window make sure the following are selected:
  • Automatically save log-file
  • Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal
  • Safe Mode (always request confirmation)
2. Click on the Scanning button on the left and select :
  • Scan Within Archives
  • Scan Active Processes
  • Scan Registry
  • Deep Scan Registry
  • Scan my IE favorites for banned URL?s
  • Scan my Hosts file
  • Under Click here to select drives + folders, choose:
  • All of your hard drives
-> Click on the Advanced button on the left and select:
  • Include additional process information
  • Include additional file information
  • Include environment information
  • Include additional object details
-> Click the Tweak button and select:
  • Under the Scanning Engine:
    • Unload recognized processes during scanning
    • Include basic Ad-aware settings in logfile
    • Include additional Ad-aware settings in logfile
  • Under the Cleaning Engine:
    • Let Windows remove files in use at next reboot
-> Click on Proceed to save the settings.

-> Click Start and on the next screen choose Activate in-depth Scan at the bottom of the page and then choose:
  • Use Custom Scanning Options
-> Click Next and Ad-aware will scan your hard drive(s) with the options you have selected.

-> Save the log file when it asks and then click Finish

-> When finished, mark everything for removal and get rid of it. (Right-click the window and choose Select All from the drop down menu and click Next).

-> Reboot your computer and post a new log.

Regards,

Pieter

Hey there thanks for replying

I'd already ran ad-aware before posting
I did the HJT cleanup and tried to reboot
in safe mode but it stops loading on a black screen
that says safe mode in each corner

plus when I load up the comp the only time
I get a blue screen on connection to broadband
is when the safely remove hardware icon
for the modem is in the system tray

I dont know how to get task scheduler up

could this be anything to do with a irq clash?

cheers

YAY!!!!!!!!

I solved my connexion problems it turns out the driver causing the
problem was symfw.sys which is to do with norton personal firewall
so I just rid myself of that and turned on the windows one!

Delete that entire folder Chris.
I couldn't find or reconstruct the full name in your log.

Scheduled Tasks aksa Task Scheduler can be found in your Control panel

Glad to see you figured out the connection problem.
Your last HijackThis log was clean.

Pieter

not ad-aware and there is no uninstaller in the ad-destroyer

whats the best way to remove this safely?
