Hey there Ive cleaned my system
virus scans,trojan scans, adware scans etc

now ive enabled everything in msconfig
and now its saying it cant find some new.dll?
i think that was its name

the original problem was that if I try and go on the internet
too quickly after booting up my computer bluescreens
those also seem to be the times when the remove hardware
safely tray icon appears but Im not too sure

First go to Add/Remove Software and see if you can remove New.Net aka NewDotNet (Domains) there. Regardless of whether that works or not continue with what's below.

Download Ad-aware from: http://www.geekstogo...n=download&id=5

Install the program and launch it.

First, in the main window, look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now and download the latest reference files.

Next, we need to configure Ad-aware for a full scan.

-> Click on the Gear icon (second from the left) to access the preferences/settings window

1. In the General window make sure the following are selected:

• Automatically save log-file
• Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal
• Safe Mode (always request confirmation)

2. Click on the Scanning button on the left and select :

• Scan Within Archives
• Scan Active Processes
• Scan Registry
• Deep Scan Registry
• Scan my IE favorites for banned URL?s
• Scan my Hosts file
• Under Click here to select drives + folders, choose:
• All of your hard drives

-> Click on the Advanced button on the left and select:

• Include additional process information
• Include additional file information
• Include environment information
• Include additional object details

-> Click the Tweak button and select:

• Under the Scanning Engine:
  • Unload recognized processes during scanning
  • Include basic Ad-aware settings in logfile
  • Include additional Ad-aware settings in logfile
• Under the Cleaning Engine:
  • Let Windows remove files in use at next reboot

-> Click on Proceed to save the settings.

-> Click Start and on the next screen choose Activate in-depth Scan at the bottom of the page and then choose:

• Use Custom Scanning Options

-> Click Next and Ad-aware will scan your hard drive(s) with the options you have selected.

-> Save the log file when it asks and then click Finish

-> When finished, mark everything for removal and get rid of it. (Right-click the window and choose Select All from the drop down menu and click Next).

-> Reboot your computer and post a new log.

Hey there thanks for replying

I'd already ran ad-aware before posting
I did the HJT cleanup and tried to reboot
in safe mode but it stops loading on a black screen
that says safe mode in each corner

plus when I load up the comp the only time
I get a blue screen on connection to broadband
is when the safely remove hardware icon
for the modem is in the system tray

I dont know how to get task scheduler up

could this be anything to do with a irq clash?

YAY!!!!!!!!

I solved my connexion problems it turns out the driver causing the
problem was symfw.sys which is to do with norton personal firewall
so I just rid myself of that and turned on the windows one!

i found SIXTHDRAW64.exe in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Clive Martin\Application Data\open bin bore

Delete that entire folder Chris.
I couldn't find or reconstruct the full name in your log.

Scheduled Tasks aksa Task Scheduler can be found in your Control panel

Glad to see you figured out the connection problem.
Your last HijackThis log was clean.

altho I just found on my sisters log-in (and no others)
ad-aware is loading up (tho ive turned it off in config)

there is no unwise file in its folder

safe way of ridding of it?

Argh I've realised my mistake (finally)

it is ad-destroyer that loads up on one of the user profiles
not ad-aware and there is no uninstaller in the ad-destroyer
directory
