help re cd rw drive

i have just re formated my hard drive and reinstalled windows me on it as xp was slowing my machine down too much.

i had a cd copier installed before and it worked ok but now each time put a cd into it it says there aint one there.

the cd copier drive shows in my computer as my d drive.

anyone got any ideas?

i also have a seperate cd rom drive installed and it works ok
