windows xp won't boot

It just stopped I have tried to do a total restore I have tried eveything I know help as far as I get know is 150 safepost active screen and that is it reads safe-post may be inactive,and it stays there

Boot the PC and keep tapping the delete key until it enters set up, look for load BIOS defaults / fail safe, select these then press F10 to save and exit, type Y to confirm then press enter
