ok i got a call from a guy today who is having probloms with his computer. when i get there his desk top is changed to what looks like the dreaded windows blue screan with it saying that his computer is infected with trojan-spy.html.smitfraud.c. normly this wouldnt be to much of a problom to fix but his proccer is at 100% with explore.exe and svchost.exe splitting it right around 50-50. i can boot it into safe mode with command prompt but from there im very limited to what i can do. if i do to much it will lock up. i can run regedit from there. is there a way that i can fix this problom from regedit or command line? i dont have any hijack this logs. was able to run it but not able to save anying to anywhere. i have yet to deal with this thing and with not being able to use explore or the start menu or anything it makes it that much more "fun".
thanks
jack
