Can't compose email using Outlook 2003

I just set up Outlook 2003 to my Comcast email address. The POP3 and SMTP information is correct, but I'm unable to compose or send an email. I also sent a test email to the Comcast address from my Yahoo email account and it's not receiving either. I'm not even sure what to do next....does anyone know what's going on? Thanks!

I do have the same problem. I just setup Outlook 2003 for the Adelphia Email POP3 and I am getting the following message "The Message interface has returned an unknown error". Anybody knows what is going on? Any help will be appreciated!
