Ever since I changed some security settings on my computer after having gotten rid of some malware, I have not been able to log-on to Myspace.com. What happens is I can type in my email and password, and then it looks like another page is going to load but the log-in page loads up again and I am not logged-in. What can I change so I may access this website?

Muchos gracias!

Which security settings did you change, or what kind of malware did you remove?

It was spyware that I removed, and I'm not exactly sure what the name was because I think there were a few. As for security settings, I downloaded a list of restricted websites that could harm my computer (but I have since removed these in order to try to access websites I can not get to). Also, I added some spyware programs to prevent having my computer harmed again. These were Spyware Guard, SpyBot, and Spyware Blaster.

eeeekk! Sounds like a cookie control problem.

Make sure your web browswer is set to allow cookies, inc 3rd party ones. There is often a setting in your firewall if you don't use Windows own to set the cookies, usually under Privacy.

Other than that, you can add Myspace url to allowed web pages in the privacy settings too.

See if that works.

Also, if you have zonelabs and Avast, disable either all of zonelabs privacy to off OR stop Avast web shield since these have known to clash and cause problems.

Also, Adaware and Search and Destroy are the best Spyware/Malware removers around. Use these if you can.
