how to desable small white splash screen

Hello,
could somebody tell me how I can desable a small white splach screen sitting right in the middle of my desktop. When I click on its properties I get :
Protocole unknown
Type unavailable
Address: about blank
Size: unavailable
Created: unavailable
Modified: unavailable

This is most likely related to a virus/malware. I suggest you head on over to the Malware Forum and go from there. Make sure you read the START HERE first!

Also in the mean time I got rid of the splach screen by going un the desktop properties> desktop> personnalise the desktop button>web (little thing in top looks like you go to a second image, how is that callled in english?)>unchecked the white splash screen! Done! :tazz: :)
