Hello,
I need some help working with Headers in Office XP Pro. Every time I type something in the Header it appears the same on every page. And if I change it on another page, all the others change too. I've played around with the other settings like "Different odd and even" and "Different first page" on the Layout tab of the Page Setup menu but this is not helping. I want to be able to type whatever I want in the header, and it to be different on every page. How do I do this? For example, this is what I need to do:

Shapiro 1 (on the first page)

Shapiro 2 (on the second page)

Shapiro 3 (on the third page)

etc...

How can I do this? It's really getting frustrating!!!

Thanks,
Randy Shapiro

Are you typing in the page number? If so, what you want to do is use Word's page number button. It's the '#' button next to Insert Auto Text, and if you hover you mouse over it, it was say Insert Page Number. Let me know if this did not fix your problem.
