Simply copy your files, etc to a floppy or a cd-r/rw (if you have a burner)..

Then, follow This Tutorial for a clean install..

Thanks. But before I do that, is there any other alternative? I don't have my product key for Windows ME (Can't even remember if I entered one when I installed it) and I couldn't find it through searching on the computer. The only problems I have left is that all versions of Java on my computer are missing their registry key and I can't download the latest version and sometimes I get a Crrrender.dll, Run32dll, Kernel.dll error when closing a program. The flash problems seems to have stopped, but that could only be temporary. Are there any ways these problems can be fixed before I start over again?

ok I got java to work in my browser. It's not shown in my control panel though, but hey it works. I also forgot to mention the screensaver still isn't working. It shows when I click the preview button, but it still shows a blank screen when it comes on by itself.

If you are using MSJava it won't show in the Control Panel..

As for the screen saver, go into Add/Remove>Windows setup.. Find the screensaver option and re-install it..

Right.. but it isn't working now so an un-install and then re-install from where I told you to go would be the first step in troubleshooting the problem..

lol ok I did it and it worked. Thank you. So far so good with the computer. I don't think I'll get the netscape 7.2 back, but i'll just learn to live with the new netscape brower. I haven't had the flash problem in a while. Thank you for all your help. :tazz:

Darn. Well i guess i'll just have to. Only thing is, I can't find my product key. When the computer was bought, we we're given an recovery cd and an Driver CD-Rom, shall i use one of those?
