Hi

When re-starting laptop i get the following error message " One of the files containing the system's Registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful "

Is there any fix as he hardware has all available patches.

Do you get this every time you boot up your computer? Do you have any available system restore points to before this happened?

Yes, The error every time you do a re-start on the equipment. This error has just started on the equipment.
No available restore points.
Also re-installed NAV etc...
No new application was installed on the hardware.

Ok, lets try this then.

Under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools Choose event viewer and see if you notice anything in there that happen when you shut down/start your computer.
